The video presented here shows the work down by the people from the Mavic assistance during the Paris-Roubaix, the most difficult race of the calendar.

When his foot came off the gas during the Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré in 1972 and Bruno Gormand offered his own car to a Team manager, who's car had broken down, that the idea of supplying "neutral assistance" was born. Totally innovative and answered the real needs of organisers and racers alike.

The technicians in the yellow cars are there to aid all the competitors in a road race, regardless of bicycle brand being used, their nationality or position in the race. They intervene directly and quickly with the champions in the event of a flat or mechanical problem in order to get them back in the race again as rapidly as possible. We've lost count of the number of competitors who have made it successfully to the finish-line thanks to their help.

The Mavic neutral support is present every year on more than 200 events all around the World. Strengthened by experience, Mavic service course celebrated 20 years of partnership with the World's greatest road race, the Tour de France and with the Queen of the Classics: Paris-Roubaix.
